Cornwall Manor Earns 5-Star Ranking
Cornwall Manor Retirement Community residents recently participated in Life Services Network’s Confidence Survey program. Cornwall Manor earned a “5-Star ranking,” the highest rating awarded. The survey ranks a retirement community’s residents’ satisfaction with their environment, staff and management services.
The results of Cornwall Manor residents’ surveys were compared to 95 other continuing care retirement communities across the country. Cornwall Manor earned a 5-Star rating for performance, distinction and quality. These categories include services and amenities, quality of life, wellness, security and safety, staff, management, programs, and overall satisfaction. Only 5% of all communities who participate in the survey get a 5-Star rating, according to Life Services Network.
“Offering high quality housing, programs and services to older adults is at the heart of our mission,” according to Cornwall Manor President Steven Hassinger. “We have conducted in-house resident satisfaction surveys for many years, but this is the first time that we have conducted a survey that compared us to other continuing care retirement communities nationwide. We are proud to have earned a 5-Star ranking, and we pledge to continue our emphasis on quality for our residents.”
The survey administrator, Life Services Network of Illinois, is a trade organization dedicated to assisting consumers in making the right choices when it comes to options in senior housing and skilled nursing services. They encourage consumers to look for the Seal of Confidence when selecting a community.
Surveys were sent to all of Cornwall Manor’s residential living residents and the 77.5% response rate resulted in an overall satisfaction rate of 96%. Cornwall Manor also ranked high in categories including living environment, services provided, and safety and security. When asked about what Cornwall Manor does best, a resident summed it up by replying “Offers a good balance of many things including: grounds, wellness, maintenance, food service, community programs with transportation and pastoral care, to name a few.”
