THE GATEWAY SNACK BAR is also open Monday-Saturday, all day and evening. A variety of breakfast, light fare items (salads/sandwiches) and beverages are available for purchase.

RESERVATIONS

Please call 717-675-1586.

Please make reservations for the Friday evening meal, Sunday noon meal and for parties of 6 or more. Reservations are not needed for Manor Cafe.

MEAL DELIVERY

Requests for meal delivery may be made to the Freeman Dining Room at 717-675-1586.

Meals are delivered between 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Noon meals are available for delivery and residents are welcome to order any item from the Manor Cafe/Freeman & Skylight Dining Room menus. Meal delivery charge is $3.00 in addition to menu price.

TRANSPORTATION

CAMPUS TRANSPORTATION

Services the Buckingham Campus, Woods Campus and Cornwall area trips.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday from 8:15 AM-4:00 PM
Saturday from 8:15 AM-2:00 PM
Sunday from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Campus transportation is also available before and after the schedule listed above by reservation.

LEBANON AREA TRANSPORTATION

(Cornwall Manor Mini Bus)Services many of the popular Lebanon area shopping centers, grocery stores, restaurants and doctors offices.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:00 PM with four departures (8:30 AM, 10:10 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:10 PM)
Saturday from 8:30 AM-2:00 PM with three departures (8:30 AM, 10:10 AM and 12:30 PM)
Sunday from 11:30 AM-4:30 PM with two departures (12:00 PM and 1:30 PM)

Transportation to a medical appointment beyond the Lebanon Area Transportation route please contact the Front Desk at 717-273-2647 to make arrangements.

Transportation for individualized services such as trips to airports, train stations, recreational trips and destinations not available on the mini bus route, please contact the Transportation Department at 717-274-8050.

RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION

The Cornwall Manor Residents Association provides opportunities for residents to get involved in maintaining the lifestyle of the community.Residents Association Committees are:

2017 Residents Association General Meetings will be held on January 18, April 19, July 19 and October 25 in Freeman Auditorium at 2 PM.

SUPPORT GROUPS

SHARE Bereavement Group meets the first Monday of each month at 10:30 AM in the Multimedia Room.

Hearing Loss Association of American, Lebanon County Chapter meets the fourth Tuesday of each month (except July, August and December) at 7 PM in Freeman Auditorium.

Vision Support Group meets the third Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November in the Laurel Place Lounge (2nd floor) at 3 PM.

Parkinson’s Support Group meets the fourth Monday of January, March, May, September and November at 2 PM in Jeanne and Ed Arnold Community Room (third floor of the Health Center).

The Hearing Care Center is available on the first and third Wednesdays beginning at 1 PM in the CMTV Room (located within the Laurel Place Activity Room). Audiologist Linda Gonya-Hartman holds office hours at Cornwall Manor.

The Caregivers Support Group (for residents who have a spouse in the Health Center) meet on the third Thursday of each month at 1:30 PM with Chaplain Glen Esler in the Laurel Place Activity Room.

SUPPORT DEVICES

Assistive Listening Devices – Specifically designed for use with the Chapel and Freeman Auditorium Sound Systems. Contact Resident Services at 717-675-1523.

OPTILEC Magnifying Machine – available for all resident use and is located in the Gateway Lounge, lower level of Corson Hall (near the computer lab) and the Activity Room (first floor of Laurel Place).

Wheel Chair Lift – Cornwall Manor has several vehicles equipped with a wheel chair lift and can accommodate a varied number of wheelchairs or motorized carts. Contact the Front Desk Manager at 717-274-8050.

Hearing Loop – Hearing Loops are available in Bradley Lounge and Freeman Auditorium. A hearing loop is a wire the circles a room and is connected to a sound system. The loop transmits the sound electromagnetically. The electromagnetic signal is then picked up by the telecoil in the hearing aid or cochlear implant to activate the telecoli.
