President & CEO Lee A. Stickler Announces Retirement
Cornwall Manor President and Chief Executive Officer, Lee A. Stickler, has announced his retirement. “Lee has been an integral part of Cornwall Manor’s growth and overall success,” said Timothy D. Sheffey, Chairperson, Cornwall Manor Board of Trustees. “He is an exceptional leader who understands the senior living industry and our community of residents and employees.”
Stickler was hired in November 1988 as the Vice President for Finance and transitioned to Executive Vice President in January 2018. Lee is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator and a Certified Public Accountant. His background in senior living began in 1982 with six years in various management positions at a large nursing facility. He has been an active volunteer in various roles with the Cornwall-Lebanon School District and the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center. Lee previously served as a program instructor for nursing home administrator candidates through Millersville University. He was also an initial board member of a national long term care insurance advisory council and chaired the council for its first four years. In addition, Lee was appointed to the state licensing board for Nursing Home Administrators serving for five years, eventually as Vice Chairperson. In March 2019, Lee became Cornwall Manor’s sixth President and CEO.
Cornwall Manor’s Board of Trustees has created a Search Committee to identify Lee’s successor. Lee has not selected an actual date for his retirement, because the Board of Trustees wants to take the necessary time to find the best candidate.
“Lee has been a significant leader for Cornwall Manor’s growth and overall success. His leadership and strong knowledge of the senior living industry have defined his tenure. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are grateful to Lee for his dedicated 33 years of service to Cornwall Manor and wish him the very best in his future retirement,” Sheffey states.
