February Highlights Summary
February was full of activity, energy and community spirit at Cornwall Manor! This month, we celebrated progress across campus with new construction advancing on Grandview Circle and in The Meadows at The Woods, plus ongoing renovations transforming Treetop.
Dining treated residents to fun and flavorful special events, including a breakfast buffet for dinner and pop-up hoagie, wings, and cheesesteak stations. The Cornwall Manor Society brought winter cheer by sponsoring a festive Health Center Winter Party and a lovely Valentine’s Tea for residents in Corson Hall Personal Care.
Competition heated up in the pool as the Cornwall Crushers resident team faced off once again against the President’s staff team in a spirited water volleyball rematch. Throughout the month, residents enjoyed happy hours and a “Wear Red Day” to support heart health, along with Love Your Heart Week, offering blood pressure checks, heart-healthy nutrition tips, and wellness education for both residents and staff.
Communities gathered for Super Bowl parties, and Artful Connections: CM Sings! launched its spring semester. To shake off the winter blues, residents joined a lively Snowflake Social—complete with a fun “Guess the Country Tune from the ’70s” challenge. Corson Hall residents were also treated to a special tableside Bananas Foster experience.
We kicked off our very first Trailside Friday Farm Market, and to top it all off, February wrapped with a beautiful snowfall on the 23rd.
