Assistant Director of Nursing-Infection Preventionist

Full time position in Health Center; salaried position; Mon-Fri; 8am-4pm with flexibility; 80 hours/pay period.  Nursing Administration on-call required. Possession of current Registered Nurse license and CPR certification required.  Minimum one year of long-term care experience with strong teaching, communication, and supervisory skills required.  BSN preferred.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.  Ability to be supportive of administration; to facilitate policies and procedures; and knowledge of state and federal regulations required. This position is responsible for the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP). Successful completion of specialized training in infection prevention and control (ie: CIC certification, CDCtrain) is required within 30 days of hire, Excellent assessment and time management skills required. Leadership skills and ability to be a strong role model for best-practice infection prevention and control recommendations are essential. Train-the-Trainer certificate preferred, willing to train. Co-Primary Instructor for NA Training Program.

Temporary Full time position in Health Center/Corson Personal Care; approximately a 12 week position; salaried position; Mon-Fri 8am-4pm; 80 hours bi-weekly; will consider a flexible schedule and part time depending on the candidate. BSW from an accredited institution required; minimum of one-year social service experience in long term care preferred; experience with conducting individual and family psycho-social interventions, discharge planning, care planning, PPS/MDS assessments, and social service documentation in a long term care setting preferred
