Cornwall Manor Society Summer Theatre Event

Plan on attending the musical comedy Mamma Mia! on Tuesday, July 22. The story unfolds on a Greek island paradise and is based on songs recorded by Swedish group ABBA. The proceeds will benefit the Cornwall Manor Society.

The $35 evening event will begin with a wine and cheese reception at 5:45 PM in the Skylight Dining Room and patio (weather permitting) including cheese, crackers, cookies, hot appetizers, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

We will then make our way to Lebanon Community Theatre to see ABBA’s hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale begins on the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs, including “Dancing Queen”, “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” “The Winner Takes It All” and of course, “Mamma Mia,” propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship.
