Certified nursing assistants are an integral part of the health care team at any facility, especially here at Cornwall Manor. Also called nurses’ aides, a career as a CNA is a worthwhile profession that allows you to build relationships and strong bonds with the residents whom you care for. This job can be demanding, as it requires you to be a constant in the lives of your residents, but it’s also gratifying. Elderly residents can have difficulties with common daily tasks, like bathing and feeding. As you help them complete these activities, you’ll feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Cornwall Manor’s Nursing Assistant Training program is designed to help you prepare to become a CNA, while at the same time giving you valuable, hands-on experience in this field.

The program lasts for 18 days, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. for classroom hours. Clinical hours are 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.; and is held at various times throughout the year. Click here to find out when the next session begins.
