Friday Farm Market! The line for certified organic goodies and fresh flower bouquets wrapped around the Community Center this morning! Today's selections included: cherry tomatoes, scallions, cucumbers, eggplants, green bell peppers, yellow summer squash, zucchini, fresh white onions, Swiss chard, green beans, sugar snap peas, carrots, acorn squash, flower bouquets, green basil and purple basil.

A beautiful evening for a Fountain Concert in front of our Freeman Community Center. Special thanks to the Susquehanna University Orchestra Summit for performing for our residents this evening. This Summit is comprised of 40 high school students from all over the United States and Canada on tour through Susquehanna University. We were delighted to experience their exceptional talent!

President's "Let's Talk" happening today in the Buckingham Mansion. These small group gatherings allow residents to meet with President McConnell and members of the senior management team to hear updates and ask questions about all things Cornwall Manor.

In today's much-anticipated water volleyball rematch between Cornwall Manor's Residents and the President's Employee Team...President McConnell and his Employee Team secured the water trophy by winning three out of four games today!

You may recall that in March, the Residents claimed victory in the first-ever Cornwall Manor Residents vs. the President Water Volleyball Match!

Who will take match 3 and reign supreme in the pool? Stay tuned to find out! 🏐

A Men's Breakfast was held today featuring a delicious hot breakfast, fellowship and featured speaker John Smith, local retired pastor, who spoke about "Encountering One's Self."

Our weekly farm market was held today so our residents and staff had access to fresh organic produce for the July 4 holiday! Today's market featured cucumbers (traditional and long Asian types), cherry tomatoes, snap peas, green beans, yellow summer squash,
zucchini, Swiss chard, scallions, acorn squash, basil, parsley, and flower bouquets. Additionally, our Dining Services team was serving fresh cool cucumber mint water, cucumber salad and gluten-free brownies! Always nice to snack and sample while shopping!

Treasure Trove sales today! The thrift store is open noon to 4 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM!

Gatehouse Lane hosted a neighborhood Summer Solstice Party on Saturday to celebrate the longest day of summer with food, neighbors and fellowship!

On June 27, a special Carnival was held on the Buckingham Mansion Grounds for our residents! Various departments at Cornwall Manor hosted the carnival booths. The event, complete with games and food was a fun and successful event for both residents and staff!
