This morning, we gathered for a gentle stretch session that awakened our bodies and lifted our spirits. With light movement, deep breaths and lots of smiles, it was the perfect way to greet the day.

Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious spread of fresh fruit, creamy yogurt, crunchy granola and refreshing infused water. 🍇🥣💧
Even better? The warm fellowship and laughter shared among friends. 💬❤️

Today’s Benevolent Care Bingo, hosted by the Cornwall Manor Society, was a full house of fun, friendship and generosity! Thanks to our amazing community, we raised over $900 to support Benevolent Care at Cornwall Manor. 💙

Every card played helped make a difference and we’re so grateful for everyone who joined us to support this meaningful mission. Let’s keep the good going—one bingo at a time! 🫶

Enjoy this recipe from Cornwall Manor's General Dining Manager, Gary Toscano:

🧠 Salmon with Roasted Red Pepper Quinoa Salad
This dish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and whole grains—all known to support brain health and reduce the risk of cognitive decline.

Ingredients:
For the Salmon:
• 2 salmon fillets (wild-caught preferred)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• Salt and pepper to taste

For the Quinoa Salad:
• 1 cup cooked quinoa
• 1 roasted red pepper, chopped
• 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
• 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• 2 tbsp chopped parsley
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until cooked through.
2. In a bowl, combine cooked quinoa, roasted red pepper, cucumber, tomatoes, and parsley.
3. Whisk together olive oil and lemon juice, then toss with the quinoa mixture. Season to taste.
4. Serve salmon over a bed of quinoa salad. Garnish with extra parsley or a lemon wedge if desired.

🎱The Cornwall Manor Billiards Club was honored to host professional pool players Frank Maialetti from Philadelphia and Shaun Wilkie from Havre de Grace, Maryland on September 20. Frank shared highlights from his career and spoke about his current work in streaming and commentating professional tournaments. Shaun, a seasoned competitor with decades of experience, has earned high rankings among players worldwide. The Billiards Club learned a lot and had a great time at the tournament.
