Do Residents Pay Rent?
No, Instead of paying rent, residents will pay a one time entrance fee which is determined by the type of residence. The entrance fee allows a resident to live in the apartment as long as they are living in independent living plus they have the contract for higher care if needed. Paying the entrance fee gives the resident the assurance they will be taken care of as long as they are living at Cornwall Manor.
In addition to the entrance fee, a monthly fee for apartments vary depending on the type of residence. The monthly fee covers all the services including most utilities, maintenance, transportation, housekeeping, an emergency medical response system, property taxes, fitness center and pool usage and a variety of other programs and amenities. When compared to what is included in the monthly fee at Cornwall Manor to staying in your home, residents find that the cost is very comparable to living at home – without the worries or headache of home upkeep. Is Transportation Available?
Yes, transportation is available for Cornwall Manor residents for medical appointments, shopping and various activities in the area. Transportation within the set guidelines are included in the monthly fee.
Are Pets Allowed in Apartments?
Cornwall Manor is a pet-friendly community, so you can bring your animal companions with you when you move into one of our senior apartments. Cats are welcome in all apartments, as well as dogs (under 30 pounds) in first-floor apartments that have outdoor or patio access.

Visiting Physician’s Office on Buckingham Campus
Physicians from Lebanon Internal Medicine Associates (LIMA) and Wellspan Health see residents at our Visiting Physician’s Office (VPO). Dr. Anne B. Hayes from Lebanon Internal Medicine Associates is Cornwall Manor’s Medical Director.
The VPO offers monitoring of a resident’s progress following hospitalization, pharmacy services available six days a week – one-day turnaround time for routine medications – blood-pressure screenings, immunizations and lab tests.
Routine medical needs and annual physicals are scheduled at our VPO. Physicians offer weekday office hours while transportation to off-campus medical appointments is also available.
A campus nurse is also available to coordinate and supervise health services for campus residents. The campus nurse serves as the link between residents, families, physicians and the Cornwall Manor Health Services staff.
