Welcoming Stacy Heckard: Cornwall Manor’s New Wellness Office Nurse Navigator

Stacy’s path to healthcare began in an unexpected way. After graduating high school, she obtained an associate’s degree in interior design. Shortly after, she got married and moved with her husband to the west coast where he was stationed in the United States Navy. While there, they had their daughter. There were health concerns with their daughter for the first 2 years of her life, which deepened Stacy’s interest in nursing. Stacy obtained her Registered Nursing Degree from Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences and later pursued a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
She began her career at Wellspan GSH in labor and delivery, later teaching Licensed Practical Nursing at the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC). Stacy then became a Family Nurse Practitioner but chose to shift away from that demanding role to spend more time with her family. In 2021, she joined Cornwall Manor’s Health Center as Assistant Director of Nursing and Infection Preventionist.
Over the past five years at Cornwall Manor, Stacy has experienced firsthand the strong bonds and meaningful relationships that define our community. These moments have shaped her deep appreciation for what she calls an “absolutely amazing environment and culture.” Stacy considers it a blessing to be part of the Cornwall Manor family.
Stacy lives in Lebanon with her husband, Scott and their three children, ages 21, 18, and 13. Their family also includes two dogs—a mini Goldendoodle and a Yorkie. One of them, Rosie, is a beloved pet visitor at Cornwall Manor. Her oldest daughter, Keira, is a pre-med student with hopes of becoming an OBGYN, while her 18‑year‑old is exploring a future in biomedical engineering.
With her compassion, experience and commitment to residents, Stacy brings a warm and knowledgeable presence to her new role. Her dedication to helping others and her belief in the value of community make her a wonderful addition to Cornwall Manor’s Wellness Office and a valued resource for all residents.
